This Privacy Policy explains how Arash Negahban Trading SPC (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you play Restore Your Island (including the demo) on Steam.
This policy does not replace Valve/Steam’s privacy policy. Steam is operated by Valve, and Valve processes Steam account data, purchases, and platform features under its own policies.

2) Key summary
- We do not use in-game analytics.
- We do not use crash reporting tools and we do not automatically collect crash dumps or diagnostic logs to our servers.
- The only data processing that may occur automatically is via Steam/Valve platform features (for example: entitlement checks, achievements if enabled, and Steam Cloud if you enable it).
- If you contact support, we process what you send us.
3) Information we process
A) Steam / Steamworks data (platform-provided)
When you play via Steam, Steam/Valve may provide us limited information necessary to operate Steam features for the game (depending on what’s enabled), such as:
- A platform identifier (e.g., SteamID) and ownership/entitlement confirmation
- Achievements / stats / leaderboards data if those Steam features are enabled for the game
We don’t receive your Steam password, payment details, or full Steam account profile unless Valve’s platform provides it under your Steam settings and Steam’s rules.
B) Steam Cloud (save syncing)
If you enable Steam Cloud, your save files may be synchronized by Steam/Valve’s cloud services as part of Steam. We do not run or control Steam Cloud infrastructure.
C) Support communications (only if you contact us)
If you email us or otherwise contact support, we process:
- Your email address
- The content of your message
- Any attachments you choose to send (e.g., screenshots, save files, logs)
D) What we do not collect
We do not collect or transmit:
- Advertising identifiers
- In-game analytics/telemetry events
- Automatic crash reports to our servers
- Automatic device fingerprints for tracking
4) How we use information
We use information only to:
- Provide Steam-integrated functionality (e.g., entitlement checks; Steam Cloud syncing; achievements if enabled)
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues using the information you provide
- Protect security and prevent abuse (e.g., handling malicious support submissions)
5) Legal bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the EEA/UK, we process personal data under:
- Contract: to provide the game and requested features (including Steam features you use)
- Legitimate interests: to provide support and maintain the integrity of our services
- Consent: where applicable (e.g., if you voluntarily send us files/logs)
6) Sharing and disclosures
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share data only in these situations:
- With Valve/Steam as needed for Steam platform features you use (Steam Cloud, entitlements, achievements, etc.)
- Legal/safety reasons: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud/abuse
We do not share data with analytics or advertising partners because we don’t use them.
7) Data retention
- Support emails and attachments: kept only as long as needed to resolve your request, then deleted or anonymized within 12 months, unless we must keep them longer for legal reasons.
- Steam Cloud / Steam platform data: retained by Valve/Steam according to their policies and your Steam settings.
8) International transfers
If we access support messages from outside your country (e.g., you email us and our team works remotely), we take appropriate steps required by applicable law to protect your information.
9) Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object or restrict certain processing.
- For Steam account/platform data, use Steam’s privacy/settings controls.

10) Children’s privacy
Restore Your Island is not intended for children under 7 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us personal data via support, contact contact@paibandstudio.com and we will delete it where required.
11) Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information we handle (primarily support emails/attachments). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
12) Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the Last updated date and publish the new version.
